IRON STRONG

Metal. Chalk. Muscle. Sweat. A focused mind determined to move iron. A relentless desire to not back down to any physical challenge.

That is the recipe for strength. And in our new Iron Strong program, that recipe is going to take your strength to the next level. For a period of 10 weeks, participants will meet twice a week for one hour of focused barbell work that is simple, efficient, and brutally effective. No matter what your starting level of strength is, the Iron Strong program will take you further.

Led by Coach Chris, the program structure is built around the Back Squat and the Bench Press. Following a linear progression, athletes will hit these two movements every week. On the other day of the week, athletes will go through a rotation of Power Cleans / Strict Presses, or Barbell Lunges / Barbell Rows. Over the course of ten weeks, your pulling, pushing and squatting abilities will all be targeted and developed.

No gimmicks, no fancy stuff, just rock solid basics that work.

Participants will receive access to a private Iron Strong track in SugarWOD with notes on loading progressions and suggestions for how to pick supplemental group class WODs during the week. Space is limited to 12 athletes and is available to all CFSA members.
