What do you do when the weather is getting better and Virginia hasn’t eased restrictions on indoor classes?
You go outside!
Ad-Hoc Outdoor Classes
This Saturday, March 13th, all three classes (8am, 9am and 10am) will be held outdoors in the parking lot.
Accordingly, we are raising the class cap to 14 athletes. If you haven’t already, go ahead and book your spot now!
Given that the weather is getting gradually sunnier and warmer, we will be moving some classes outdoors on an ad-hoc basis moving forward. In any given week, we will look at the weather predictions and the programming planned, we will identify a good day for taking our class outdoors, and we will let you know a couple of days in advance so you can book your spot. Class caps will be raised on that day.
Obviously, we can’t guarantee that we will do this more than once in any given week, or that we will do this at all on some weeks. But we do believe this will create some opportunities for more of you to get a workout in. We know reservations have been a pain.
Two Classes on Friday Night
In addition to the above, we will also be updating our schedule to add one more class on Friday night. Starting on Friday March 19th (next week), the Friday evening schedule will feature two classes, 4:30pm and 5:45pm, similar to the other week days.
The Friday 5pm class has been consistently the most attended class for the last 3-4 weeks. It is time to create room for more of you to workout on Friday evenings.
We hope the above steps will help us bridge the gap between today and a future in which indoor classes are not restricted. Rest assured, we will continue to look into more options to solve the problem of restrictions. We are never really satisfied with the status quo.
As always, thank you for your continued perseverance. You rock!
